Time to work your magic. The future of the Hocus Pocus sequel is in your hands.
Hocus Pocus was released by the Walt Disney Company in 1993.
In case your memory's a little fuzzy, Hocus Pocus is about three sisters who also happen to be witches named Winifred, Mary and Sarah.
Thanks to a spell, they rise from the dead and return to Salem hoping to steal the youth from the town's children.
They also perform some pretty killer pop songs.
Bette Midler, who played Winifred, recently did an AMA on Reddit to promote her new album.
The top comment in the thread is from someone asking for a sequel. "You have to go to send in your cards to the Walt Disney company. The ball's in their court," Midler said.
After the AMA, she said goodbye to fans by updating the page's description with this:
Buzzfeed reached out to Kathy Najimy (who plays Mary) and she had this to say, "I have read Bette's quote and I agree. The outpouring of love from Hocus-ites has been astounding...A sequel is totally in The Disney company’s hands.â€
Sarah Jessica Parker was also reached for comment and she kept her response brief. "Yep. I'm in," she told Buzzfeed.
Who would you want to see in the sequel? We've got our fingers crossed for cameos from Thackery Binx and Billy The Zombie.
