It is already known that a glass of red wine once a day can be beneficial to your heart. So, this new study, published in the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, proving grapes to be helpful in burning fat is just another reason to have another glass!
Researchers at Oregon State, the University of Florida and the University of Nebraska found that the consumption of grapes may help burn fat. They found after doing extensive research that grapes in both juice and wine form can have this effect on people. The authors believe that certain chemicals in grapes bind to receptors that metabolizes sugars and fats, this process will ultimately slow the growth of fat cells.
