Photographer and Portugal-based artist, Ana de Matos Oliveira, has always been fascinated by the stages of life we undergo - from youth to old age - and especially, the physical changes in our appearance that occur throughout them. In an effort to capture this contrast, she took beautiful photos of several older individuals, and juxtaposed them with portraits from when they were young. While the contrast is indeed beautiful, it certainly does give young people a reason to appreciate their youth.
