It turns out, when you have a fully refundable first class ticket with Eastern China Airline, the world is your oyster.
When someone purchases a first class airline ticket, it's easy to assume they did so because they're interested in having a luxurious flight to wherever they're going.
But it turns out, a first class tickets gets you some ground benefits, as well. In the case of Xi'an International Airport, a first class ticket grants you access to a first class lounge, and they're you're entitled to a free meal.
The man used his ticket to get access to the lounge and get his free meal for an ENTIRE YEAR. Since his ticket had full refunds, he would enjoy his free meal each day but reschedule his flight for the following day each time. He racked up more than 300 meals this way.
Even when he was caught, there weren't really any explicit rules that he broke, so he was able to just turn in his ticket for a full reimbursement. This guy is my hero!
