After Their Mom Was Rushed Off In An Ambulance, These Cops Took Care Of Her 5 Kids

by N/A, 8 years ago | 2 min read

Cops overseas seem to be doing their jobs the right way, and they're getting a lot of good press for it. And here, yet again, we see European cops going above and beyond their call of duty.

Two Dutch cops received a call from a hospitalized mother asking if they could watch her five children until she was able to return home. And as you can see, they happily obliged.

Not only did the two officers look after the woman's children, they made them dinner too. They even took care of all the dishes afterwards.

Naturally, their fellow officers at their station gave them high praise for their exceptional kindness. Not long after it was posted, the story exploded.
Here's a translation of the post:

“Another side of police work”

Last week our colleagues got an alert in Woensel-Noord. An ambulance had to attend to a woman who was suffering from a hypo, her blood sugar was way too low. The woman was driven to the hospital for monitoring but there were five young children in the home.

Because the policemen had some time to wait before they could hand the kids over to someone and the kids hadn’t eaten yet, the officers made them something to eat.

Our colleagues made them egg sandwiches and some fruit, and they made sure to do all the dishes afterwards.

Immediately, it garnered thousands of likes and Facebook and a bevy of positive comments commending the two.
And of course, there were a number of women who were smitten by the soft-sided pair.

Translation: "MARRY ME???"

Bu whether people were enamored with or in admiration of men in uniform, it's safe to say that the two have earned a digital standing ovation for their kindness.
