This Is No Surprise, Japan Has Done It Again By Simplifying Multiplication For Everyone
Multiplication tables are the thing of nightmares for children growing up all over the world. What is this mathematical concept that baffles brains into remembering how to combine numbers?! Surely, some of you reading this right now are getting a cold sweat upon remembering just how suffocating of a time that was in your adolescence. The math that goes into this, well, math is just brutal.
Sorry you missed out on your childhood, but be thankful your kids won't have to with this Japanese method.
Okay, sorry about that. That probably made your head hurt just as much as it did back in the day attempting to memorize your multiplication tables. We should've offered a little explanation into what's going on. Essentially a system of lines and dots according to the numbers in the multiplication problem solves it for you.
Have you figured it out yet? Pretty simply in comparison right?!
Here's to this replacing the teaching of times tables for the rest of educational existence on Earth! If you're still distraught by the thought of doing math, even when made this easy, just go ahead and use a calculator–everyone has got one in their pocket these days anyway.
