You Won't Believe What This Beautiful Home Was Built From
Reddit user KriegerContainers recently posted an overview of his recent innovative construction project
He started with 4 empty shipping containers

Note: The cinderblock foundation pictured is just the only visible portion of 10-foot drilled piers to keep the whole building stable.
Then, he added framing between the stacked containers and within them to create rooms.

He did a lot of the work himself, but did contract out some of the projects as well.

The (almost) final product was a duplex that cost him only about $165,000.

After a coat of paint and some finishing touches, the shipping container building looked much more like a home.
