Dogs doing just what dogs do best.
One of the most entertaining parts of watching a tennis match is definitely this swift little ball boys running here and there.

And generally having awesome reflexes, too.
But for the exhibition match between Gastao Elias and Roberto Carballes Baena at the 2016 Brazil Open, they employed a furrier set of ballboys.

Four formerly stray street dogs, Frida, Mel, Isabelle and Costela, were trained to chase down balls for the tennis match.

The dog trainer Andrea Beckert said she hoped the stunt would promote adoption of rescued animals.

"We want to show that abandoned dogs can be adopted and trained," Beckert explained . "After all, it's not easy to get a dog to only pick up the lost balls, and then to give them up!"
No matter what the reason, these dogs killed it as ball boys in efficiency AND adorableness.
