The GoT Premiere Was So Exciting People Stopped Watching Porn
Game of Thrones > Porn
Season 6 of "Game of Thrones" premiered Sunday, April 24. And while the events of this episode weren't particularly sexy, the HBO show is well known for its sensual scenes.

Oh, and also this:

Point is, the show deals with a lot of sex.
But what's even more interesting is that during the one-hour premiere*, Pornhub traffic dropped by 4 percent.

*Adjusted for time zone differentials.
And with an estimated 2.4 million users per hour, a 4 percent drop means 96,000 people decided to tune into GoT rather than get their Sunday evening freak on. Now that's devoted fandom.
After the premiere, character-specific searches skyrocketed up to an astounding 370 percent.

Which is not exactly a surprising statistic, considering exhibits A-C above.
And if Season 6 is anything like those that came before, Pornhub can expect a few more viewership drops in weeks to come.
