A Gilmore Girls Fan Fest Is Happening In The Actual Town That Inspired It All

Meet us in Stars Hollow…I mean Washington Depot

2016 is truly the year of the Gilmore Girls fan.

First we find out about the reunion, then we got to whet our appetites with the trailer, and it was finally confirmed that Melissa McCarthy is indeed coming back. Sure, we have to wait until November 25th (aka the best day of our collective lives) to be reunited with the show we love, but now we have something to tide us over and that thing is the Gilmore Girls Fan Fest.

The Fan Fest will be a weekend-long event held October 21–23 in none other than the inspiration for Stars Hollow itself, Washington Depot, CT. There will be a town troubadour, a knit-a-thon and lots and lots of coffee. Listen to a book reading at “Andrew’s Bookstore” and show off your knowledge with Gilmore Girls trivia. Dress up for cocktails for Friday Night Dinner and get sprayed with glitter at a Miss Patty’s dance recital.

Of course, there will be episodes airing from each season AND we saved the best for last, because even some of the cast will be joining in on the revelry for a Town Hall meeting/interview panel. The list currently includes Jackson Douglas (Jackson), Rini Bell (Lulu), Aris Alvarado (Caesar), Biff Yeager (Tom), Kelly Bishop (Emily), Yanic Truesdale (Michel), Vanessa Marano (April) and Ted Rooney (Morey). Of course, there’s still plenty of time to convince the rest of our faves to join in.

Tickets are available here (for as long as they last), so go on now, Copper Boom!
